My New Year’s Goals: Wellness, Growth, and Plans for 2025
As I look back on the past year, I can’t help but feel a surge of hope and excitement while I set my 2025 New Year goals. This past year has been transformative in so many ways. It’s been just over a year since I moved to New Bern and about six months since my divorce was finalized. 2024 was challenging but also a year of deep growth, and I’m ready to embrace everything 2025 has to offer.



A Year of Growth: 2025 New Year Goals
2025 feels like it is going to be my year. I’m diving into so many things that light me up. This year, I’m determined to make it one of growth and self-discovery. One of the biggest milestones ahead is starting my journey to become a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I really see this as a huge step towards my future career goals. I can’t wait to learn, grow, and gain the tools to help others on their wellness paths.
I’ve also joined a local coven, and it’s been such a fulfilling experience. It is new, but I am really excited at the idea of building relationships with like-minded people who share my love for spirituality and magic. What I have been able to experience so far has been incredible. I’m looking forward to celebrating the Pagan Wheel of the Year with them and deepening these connections.
Growing Together with My New Partner
On a personal level, my relationship with my girlfriend continues to be a source of joy and growth. As I settle into myself after my divorce, I’ve found comfort in how much we’re growing together. She is supportive, communicative, constant, and driven—everything I could ask for in a partner. I feel so lucky to have found her.
One of my most cherished memories from 2024 was a family trip to Luray, Virginia, with her and her family. Exploring the beautiful landscapes and sharing those moments with such warm, open-hearted people made me feel truly connected and welcomed. I’ve also been fortunate to spend two Thanksgivings and Christmases with them, which have been amazing and filled with love. Her family has been so loving and accepting, and I’m excited to deepen these bonds in the coming year.





Big Plans for Get Mystic with Erin and Social Media
Another goal for 2025 is to focus on Get Mystic with Erin and grow its reach. I want to connect more with the autoimmune and holistic healing community, sharing my journey and tips along the way. Social media is going to be a big part of that. I’m ready to post more consistently on Instagram and Facebook, build our Facebook group, and even dip my toes into TikTok. It’s not just about growth; it’s about sharing all the facets of who I am—a health coach in training, a witchy soul, a gamer, a cat mom, and so much more.
I have always kept myself hidden from the world, afraid of rejection and being misunderstood. Over the years, I’ve worked hard to put myself out there more and more. Still, there are moments when I withdraw, which I’ve come to understand as part of the natural ebbs and flows of my energy levels caused by Hashimoto’s.
I am learning to accept that this is also a part of who I am, and instead of resisting it, I want to work with it. My goal is to set up processes that streamline my blog and social media outreach, allowing me to stay consistent even during times when my health requires me to slow down.
Starting this blog has been a huge step for me—a leap toward showing the world who I really am. It hasn’t been easy, but I know this is just the beginning. I’m proud of myself for having the courage to start, and I’m excited to see how much I can grow in 2025.
Sharing my journey feels vulnerable yet empowering because it allows me to connect with others who may feel the same way. My hope is that by being open, I can inspire others to embrace their own growth and healing. Adventures and New Experiences
I’m also thrilled about the adventures ahead. In March, I’ll be traveling to Arizona with two new friends, and I can already tell it’s going to be a memorable trip. Plus, my friend is traveling down from Ohio to go on a trip to Wilmington with us for my girlfriend’s birthday. I hope I will have the opportunity to go on another family trip sometime during the year. And my girlfriend and I want to plan a trip up to Ohio to see our friend. These adventures are a way for me to embrace new experiences and continue expanding my horizons. Having these trips to look forward to makes my heart so full.
My Commitment to Wellness
One of my biggest intentions for 2025 is to focus on my health. I’ve learned how important it is to support my mind and body through movement, rest, and self-care. This new year I want to focus on finding even more ways to incorporate these aspects into my life. Yoga and therapy will continue to be staples in my routine, but I’m excited to try Pilates for the first time. Having a new and fun way to get active will be motivating.
I am going to focus on realigning myself with my bedtime routine, aiming for 7–8 hours of sleep each night to support my energy and overall health. I plan to schedule 30 minutes of movement every day, whether it’s a yoga class, a walk, or time at the barn with the horses. Spending time with the horses and doing barn chores helps me feel grounded and connected to nature.
Self-care and Mindfulness
Self-care will take center stage in my weekly routine. I’ll include relaxing baths, face masks, and at least one yin yoga class. Daily mindfulness practices, like meditation or yoga, will help me reduce stress and improve mental clarity. Nourishing my body with balanced, nutrient-dense meals will support both my physical and emotional energy levels. I’ll also continue to practice saying no to commitments that don’t align with my well-being, ensuring I have time to recharge.
How 2024 Set the Stage for My 2025 Goals
Looking back, 2024 wasn’t easy, but it taught me so much. Adjusting to a new city, a full-time job, and the end of a long relationship was overwhelming and downright terrifying at times. But it also showed me my resilience. My growth in 2024 laid the foundation for my 2025 New Year wellness and growth goals. This sets me up for a year of transformation. I’ve found alignment with who I am and the life I want to create—one that feels holistic, intentional, magical, and so filled with love.

I feel deeply grateful for the opportunities ahead and the lessons I’ve learned. I’m excited to align my intentions with my 2025 New Year goals to make this a transformative year. 2025 is brimming with possibilities, and I’m ready to embrace them all.
